Asia’s best restaurants have once again been revealed. The winner – third year in a row – the Indian restaurant Gaggan in Bangkok.

The prestigious award is awarded by San Pellegrino and Aqcua Panna, which annually lists the top 50 restaurants in Asia with the help of chefs and culinary experts. And this year it became Gaggan who took home the first prize. The restaurant, which is located in a white colonial villa, serves Indian progressive food. An example of the restaurant’s modern focus is the menu – it consists exclusively of emojis.

Guests at Gaggan can expect a variety of flavors that are intended to highlight the huge variety and regional differences of Indian cuisine. A tasting menu consisting of about 20’s dishes is lost at 4000 baht, or just over $120. The other top 10 restaurants include another restaurant in Bangkok, the rest in either Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo or Shanghai.
